These gorgeous Swazi Agate spheres display a mix of fortification banding, orbicular formations, translucent agate, and rich grey, purple, blue, and reddish tones. We are excited to stock this newer production of Swazi Agate is notable for its soft lavender and blue-grey tones, contrasting banding, and distinctive orbicular formations. Swazi Agate is a naturally banded form of Chalcedony found in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), known for producing some of the most colourful and intricately patterned agates from southern Africa. It forms as silica-rich fluids settle in rhythmic bands within volcanic cavities, creating the colour zoning, veining, orbicular features, and occasional crystalline pockets visible throughout the stone. Many of these spheres show particularly strong pattern development, with contrasting bands and translucent sections that highlight the complexity of the material. You will receive the exact sphere you select from the images. When you purchase one of our spheres we will include a free metal sphere holder.

SWAZI AGATE
Swazi Agate comes from Eswatini in southern Africa and is valued for its strong natural colour palette and expressive banding. The region’s volcanic history produces Agates with unusually saturated tones and complex internal structures. Metaphysically, Swazi Agate is believed to offer grounding, emotional steadiness, and a protective, stabilising presence. It’s often worked with for clarity, resilience, and a calm, centred mindset. Each piece carries the character of its origin, showing the layered geological story of the African Rift environment.
