This carving is made from authentic Ocean Jasper sourced from the northwest coast of Madagascar, the only place this material naturally forms. Ocean Jasper is recognised for its orbicular patterns, layered banding, and calming tones of cream, green, honey, pink, and earthy brown, each piece shaped by ancient volcanic processes that create its distinctive, naturally patterned surface. The Money Toad (Jin Chan) is a long‑standing symbol of prosperity, opportunity, and the protection of resources, and in this carving the toad does not hold a coin in its mouth but instead sits directly on the coin. This posture represents secured and stabilised abundance rather than active acquisition, with the coin beneath the toad symbolising wealth that is already anchored, protected, and held in place. It is traditionally used for long‑term prosperity, steady financial grounding, and safeguarding what has been earned, making it a rooted guardian form suited to home or workspace placement where the intention is stability, continuity, and wise stewardship. Ocean Jasper is also associated with emotional balance, resilience, and a calm, centred outlook, adding a gentle, supportive energy to the symbolic meaning of the carving. You will receive the exact piece shown.

  • OCEAN JASPER
Authentic Ocean Jasper is a rare variety of orbicular Chalcedony found only in the Marovato region of Madagascar. It forms when colloidal silica suspensions lose water and solidify into masses of microcrystalline quartz, creating distinctive orb patterns, banding, and layered colour blends. Each piece is unique, showing tones that range from soft pastels to vivid contrasts, often recalling the spray and rhythm of the ocean. Metaphysically, Ocean Jasper is celebrated as a nurturing and heart‑healing stone. It is believed to bring peace, joy, and emotional renewal, while encouraging introspection and a grounded connection to Earth.

    MONEY TOAD
The "Money Toad," also known as the Jin Chan or Chan Chu, is believed to attract wealth and prosperity.  Typically depicted as a three-legged toad with red eyes, flared nostrils, and a coin in its mouth, it often sits on a pile of traditional Chinese cash. The Toad's three legs represent it's connection to the moon, while the coin symbolizes wealth.
