The oxygen isotope ratios in enstatite chondrites suggest they may be linked to the formation of Earth-like planetary material. NWA 2965 is considered a fossil meteorite, meaning it has undergone extensive terrestrial weathering, altering its mineralogy over thousands of years and was found in 2005 in Morocco.
