Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminium silicate feldspar that displays a pearly, opalescent glow known as Adularescence. This lunar sheen is created by light scattering between microscopic layers of orthoclase and albite within the feldspar structure. Moonstone is often associated with feminine energy and is believed to bring love, hope and emotional openness. It is thought to connect strongly with the upper chakras, supporting dreams, intuition and expanded consciousness.
