Larvikite is an igneous rock, a variety of Monzonite, known for inclusions of Feldspar which give it its characteristic Labradorescence or flash. Carved from natural Larvikite, this sphere holder shows strong blue flash across its polished surface — each piece has a dark, storm‑grey base tone with bright electric flashes. Larvikite is valued for its reflective, shielding, and clarity‑supporting properties, making it an ideal base for spheres or display pieces. This holder is cut with a clean concave top to hold spheres between 2.5CMD to 7CMD. Larvikite is associated with transformation, strength, power and manifestation. Sphere holders are often used to ‘anchor’ the energy of a sphere, creating a stable focal point that supports clarity, intention work, and energetic flow. By lifting the sphere and giving it a defined base, the holder is believed to enhance the sphere’s presence, keep its energy centred, and strengthen the qualities of the material it supports.

LARVIKITE
Larvikite is a black igneous rock or magmatic rock - formed through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava. A variety of monzonite, Larvikite is full of feldspar; microscopic inclusions within the minerals, that refract and reflect light. This gives Larvikite its silver-blue schiller effect called labradorescence or flash. Larvikite is known to be a stone of transformation, strength and willpower, and is thought to help with stress and anxiety.
