GOLD SHEEN OBSIDIAN
Obsidian is formed when lava is cooled quickly - and is therefore a type of volcanic glass.  Gold Sheen Obsidian is a rare type of volcanic glass that exhibits a metallic gold sheen or chatoyancy when light reflects off its surface, due to the inclusions of minerals such as magnetite or hematite.  Obsidian is thought to provide intensive protection and purification from negative energy, activate creativity and intuition, cleanse and purify the auric field, and believed to possess potent grounding energies.
