Blue Banded Agate is a variety of Chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz, characterised by its layered blue and white banding. The blue coloration typically results from trace minerals such as iron or titanium, and the stone forms through silica deposition in volcanic cavities. This batch of spheres are enhanced versions, where natural agate stone is soaked in a dye solution, often followed by heat treatment to enhance the color's penetration and vibrancy. When Blue Agate is enhanced, it is believed to still retain the metaphysical properties of Blue Agate. Blue Banded Agate is commonly associated with the Throat and Third Eye Chakras, and is used in crystal healing to support clear communication, emotional calm, and spiritual insight.
