TIGER EYE
Tiger Eye is a chatoyant gemstone (an effect like the shimmering gaze of a cat's eye) that is usually a metamorphic rock with a golden to red-brown colour and a silky lustre. As members of the quartz group, its lustrous sheen is the result of the parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals and altered amphibole fibres. Tiger Eye, like is namesake, is believed to activate inner confidence and strength and is linked to the sacral chakra.
