Our Red Cherry Blossom Agate Crescent Moons have glossy smooth faces with lots of flower (or 'blooms') and have been hand polished into these adorable little moon shapes, which may contain natural pitting and cracks. Cherry Blossom Agate, also called Flower Agate, is a type of Chalcedony (a microcrystalline Quartz, SiO₂) with plume-like or flower-like inclusions, often formed by manganese or iron oxides. These little moons are natural Flower Agate but have been enhanced with heat treatment to deepen the iron oxide’s hue. Cherry Blossom or Flower Agate is believed to bring loving healing energies.
