Rainforest Jasper or Rainforest Ryolite or Australian Rainforest Jasper is a variety of Ryolite. A volcanic rock, Ryolite is combined with Quartz and inclusions of feldspar, Hornblende, and Rhyolite that form the tiny blossom formations or 'plumes' that resemble the rich foliage of the Rainforest. Rainforest Jasper is believed to have protective Earth energies which inspire transformation, strength and creativity and is associated with grounding, balancing, harmony and connecting to nature.
