Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminium silicate feldspar that displays a pearly and opalescent finish, called Adularescence. This Moon-like glow is caused by light scattering between the microscopic layers of orthoclase and albite occuring within the feldspar. Moonstone is known for its feminine energy and its ability to bring about love and hope.
