K2 describes an aggregate of granite found only in the snowy peaks of the K2 mountain ranges of Karakoram in Pakistan. Featuring bright blue spots, orbs, and spheres of Azurite in grey and white granite, the blue-spotted mineral is a Granite Gneiss - a rare geology where inclusions of copper erode whilst the spheres of colorful Azurite and Malachite remain.
