OCEAN JASPER
Ocean Jasper occurs when colloidal suspensions suffer water loss and solidify into masses of microcrystalline quartz. The 8th vein of Ocean Jasper was one of the final discoveries in the Marovato region of Madagascar, unearthed around 2017. It produced a small and highly varied pocket of material, often with softer orbs, more muted tones, and unique color blends not seen in earlier veins. Due to its limited yield and the vein now being mined out, 8th vein Ocean Jasper is considered rare and collectible. It is believed that it carries the same nurturing, heart-healing energy as other Ocean Jasper, but with a more introspective, earthy feel.
