Crazy Lace Agate, also known as Mexican Agate, is a rare variety of banded Chalcedony sourced from Chihuahua, Mexico. Formed during the Cretaceous period (approx. 65–90 million years ago), it displays intricate lace-like banding, swirling patterns, and orbicular formations in tones of red, cream, grey, and gold. These patterns result from rhythmic silica deposition in ancient volcanic cavities, often enriched with iron and aluminum inclusions. Metaphysically, Crazy Lace Agate is associated with emotional balance, intuitive clarity, and energetic flow.
