Chrysanthemum Stone is a rare, naturally patterned mineral formation found in Permian-age black shale and limestone. Formed over millions of years through slow crystallisation of Celestite, Calcite, and Andalusite, these stones display striking white radial inclusions that bloom like frozen flowers — each one a geological chrysanthemum etched in stone. This specimen features a bold, starburst-like bloom against a matte black matrix. Often associated with spiritual growth, patience, and transformation, Chrysanthemum Stone is believed to support the Root and Crown Chakras, anchoring the soul while encouraging expansion.  You will receive the exact specimen shown.  When you purchase our specimen we will include a free holder to display.

  • CHRYSANTHEMUM STONE
Chrysanthemum Stone is a distinctive ornamental rock recognised by its natural, flower‑like radial patterns. These pale, petal‑shaped formations occur when minerals such as Celestine, Calcite, or Andalusite crystallise within a dark sedimentary matrix, creating sharp contrast and a striking visual bloom. The host rock typically dates back to the Permian period, giving each piece a deep geological history. Energetically, Chrysanthemum Stone is often linked to themes of steady development, personal unfolding, and long‑term growth. Its contrasting structure — a radiant mineral burst emerging from a dark base — is seen as a symbol of potential taking shape over time.
