CHRYSOPRASE
Chrysoprase is a rare gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of silica) whose green colour is the result of trace amounts of nickel. Formed under low-temperature, near-surface conditions, it often occurs in veins or nodules within nickel-rich host rock. Chrysoprase may range from translucent apple-green to opaque earthy tones, depending on purity and matrix content. Considered a ‘heart’ stone, it’s associated with the heart chakra and thought to carry powerful Mother Earth healing energy—supporting emotional renewal, inner peace, and spiritual connection to nature.
