Red Jasper is a variety of Jasper, a microcrystalline silicate and a member of the Quartz family. Red Jasper is coloured through traces of Iron, giving it its signature deep to bright red hue. Brecciated Jasper refers to the way the stone is naturally broken and re-cemented together, creating a unique pattern of angular fragments. Red Jasper is believed to be a very protective and grounding stone, thought to promote calmness, strength and an organising and motivating energy.
