BLUE MOSS AGATE
Formed from silicon dioxide, Moss Agate is a variety of chalcedony featuring dendritic inclusions of manganese, chlorite, and/or iron. These inclusions create moss-like patterns in shades of green and white, often resembling natural landscapes. Blue Moss Agate forms through the slow precipitation of silica in volcanic environments, often alongside basalt or andesite. The blue tones are due to trace mineral content, while the mossy inclusions result from iron or manganese trapped during crystallization. Unlike banded agates, Moss Agate lacks concentric layers and instead displays branching, organic structures. It is believed to support inner stability, patience, and gentle transformation.
